Hi, I'm Anna
I'm a food & nutrition enthusiast with a simple mission: make the USDA's nutrition data
accessible and actually useful for everyday people. Whether you're tracking macros, managing a
health condition, or just curious about what's in your food — I built this site for you.
Why I Built This Site
The USDA maintains one of the most comprehensive food databases in the world, but navigating
their raw data isn't exactly user-friendly. I wanted to create a clean, fast way to look up
nutrition facts, compare foods side by side, and discover which foods are highest (or lowest)
in specific nutrients — all backed by the same data that dietitians and food manufacturers rely on.
About the Data
Every nutrition fact on this site comes from the USDA FoodData Central database.
I use the SR Legacy and Foundation Foods datasets, covering thousands of common foods with detailed
nutrient profiles. You can read more about how I source and present the data on the
Methodology page.
